Fact, with monogamy then we have to assume that:
With ratios of 60-40 young LDS women to men (and that's in Utah),
Those statistics include men who still go to Church, but not that often, or maybe not that devout,
That men are leaving organized Christian religions faster and faster...
That instilling in your daughters the expectation that they will marry any LDS man, much less one who can take them to the temple, is quickly becoming a fantasy. Just getting an inactive LDS man will be a stroke of luck, then maybe hoping they get a man with strong family values, but not LDS, could be another option.

From the article.
I wonder what their bishops consider it to be?
To be sure, the Mormon dating scene at BYU—or in Utah in general—will never be confused with Sex and the City. As I said, premarital sex is still taboo for Mormons. Yet, just as Bowman suggested, the undersupply of men does seem to be loosening Mormon sexual mores. “At BYU, a lot of Mormons my age don’t consider oral sex to be sex,” said Wheelwright.

They will have to do what the second Mrs Nelson and Oaks did. Wait for an older man’s wife to die and then marry him for time and all eternity as a plural wife.

We simply invent new reasons, new justifications, new explanations. Sometimes we ignore the evidence altogether.” (Mathew Syed 'Black Box Thinking')

Means you live with no children of your own, and we can probably be certain that if a woman marries past 70, to someone 70 or older, the intimate life is probably not that often.

Maybe the husband can get the tongue a'waggin so the Relief Society sisters have something to talk about?

Active LDS men (especially RMs) have it so good. In Utah there are a lot of well behaved god fearing LDS single women with no children or STD. Utah is a paradise for active LDS men. So many women and a lot of dating opportunities.
