It means that it's a post with no text. I'm using the thread title to show the new URL. Because no one who couldn't read the board to start with can flipping READ the announcement that Shades made.

Like I was saying. It's a post with no comment. Because the thread title IS the comment.

In the old days, before dirt was invented and we only had threaded views...we would sometimes make the thread title our comment like so...

so that WAS our comment.

So the people who can't read anything BUT the thread titles (because they think they're locked out) can get the message AS a thread title.
