The goal for Johnny's fundraiser has been raised to $5000. Evidently his widow had felt bashful about asking for an appropriate amount that would actually cover his funeral expenses, so she asked for far too little. Feel free to donate with confidence. You can choose to do so anonymously, and that works, as one member of the board has already learned.

Good. When my sister died, I learned for the first time how much funerals cost. Shocking. I keep telling me wife just to put me in a gunnysack and dig a hole in the backyard. Then plant a tree over me. I'm pretty sure the health department would not approve.

That ought to be quite a meeting. Someone’s number will be punched.Gadianton wrote: ↑Tue Sep 08, 2020 4:16 amReally sad to hear this. seemed like a tortured guy to me and I was never sure what to really say to him. Well, if you needed details on some aspect of church history nobody else knew about, he'd be the go-to guy for that. If there is an afterlife, and if there's anything Joseph Smith thinks he might have gotten away with, his number is punched.
Sorry to hear of his passing.

Listen. Those of you who were interested in transferring grindael's Terrestrial posts to the new Archives Forum might want to get on that. Gad noted that he detected glitches in accessing this board.

Anyone planning to do this??? We have no assurance that this board will be merged with the new board in the form of archives. It is hoped for but not promised.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:13 amListen.
