I have created this thread so that it might stand as a permanent reference for anytime that Bob denies that he distorted a quote. "Wha? I don't know what you're talking about!" he'll say. He has said this many times, apparently thinking that we will forget about it.

Yes, but ... Mr. Crockett was acting on orders to fudge the truth, in the name of the Lord. Otherwise, he may have been obligated to sleep with the fishes as well as extra wives, under penalty of a drawn sword (perhaps concealed in a Kirton McConkie legal brief). The plea is not guilty by reason of Mormanity.

He disliked me because I took him to task for his missing all (every single one) of the documents in the National Archives. His comment was that I had unlimited money, being a rich lawyer. (Not, but that is what he said.) But he did a great job with his book and I'm not here to criticize him today.
