Chris Heimerdinger responds to critics

Post by Rivendale »

I'm still in the hospital, but it appears that for now I have beaten the China Virus.
This is a misleading post, but that's hardly unexpected these days. As to the first couple sentences . . . I think, yes, it would be accurate to say I think masks are silly, but I am NOT anti-vaccine. Here's the political rub. When I was in the process of being admitted into the hospital I asked about therapeutics like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. The hospital responded with two statements: 1. "This hospital doesn't offer those medicines. 2. We don't feel they are effective." I was given no option to even make them part of the early strategy--because politics at this particular institution had made up its mind FOR ME. Doctors and nurses at other institutions have strongly advised me to file a law suit. Right now I'm still pretty darn weak and in the recovery phase. But in a few weeks I will be seriously weighing whether to follow that advice.

I actually felt sorry for his family and was stupid enough to donate to his Gofundme. I guess the joke is on me. I wish I could get my donation back.

Chris is a complete moron.

Moron indeed.

Despite being sick, why was he going to the hospital for treatment if he knew more about medical treatments than the health professionals at the hospital?

This was a tough read. I don’t really know why I made a donation the other day. I dunno, man. I guess I just wanted to see if I could extend a small gesture toward a human being I don’t respect. I guess it takes a village to keep the village idiot alive.

The problem with the quote in the opening post is that hospitals do not offer therapeutic medicine, or any kind of medicine. The treating physician does. Hospitals, as a matter of law, do not practice medicine. The hospital is the "accommodation" provided to a treating physician. So his opening post is completely absurd. If his doctor prescribed horse deworming as a therapeutic, there is nothing the hospital could have done to stop it.

Why stop at HCQ and IVM? He could also sue them for not having healing crystals, consecrated Malchezedic Priesthood oil, Wolf's Bane 200C, and the thoughts and prayers of a few thousand Facebook followers.

If the hospital isn't doing anything and the treatments don't harm, then why not allow them? Making a stink over using off label drugs seems to be falling into the conspiracy theory that Pfizer et al are behind the denials because they don't want the competition. I thought the standard response to cancer patients was to allow any non-harming treatment as long as the other regimens were followed. There are many quack cancer treatments out there and giving a patient hope when the treatment doesn't do anything but doesn't do harm might help. The placebo effect works at times.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.
