It should be remembered too that many sectarian critics use DNA science in a sort of "suicide bombing" attack on the Church. The fundamentalist Christian critics are happy to use DNA as a stick to beat the Book of Mormon, but do not tell their readers that there is much stronger DNA evidence for concepts which fundamentalist Christian readers might not accept, such as:
evolutionary change in species
human descent from other primates
Let's take a look at another double standard, used by Mormon apologists. They offer up secular scholarship of the Old Testament as justification for their polytheistic theology. Without realizing it is also "figurative suicide."

James White: That's a very common mythology in scholarship. But it's based upon a fundamental rejection of what you believe as a latter-day saint. What I find strange is that people at BYU embrace our forms of liberalism without recognizing that it's absolute poison to your fundamental belief in the Book of Mormon, D&C, and Pearl of Great Price. Because certainly Joseph Smith and the early leaders of church did not embrace the kind of "Documentary Hypothesis" based idea that allows you to atomize the text of the Old Testament and say "well sure there are some texts that sound monotheistic but then you've got these over here, and you don't have to take them as a whole." That would end up destroying the reason, for example, why 17 chapters of The Book of Isaiah end up quoted almost verbatim from the King James Version of the Bible in the Book of Mormon. That was not the argument of the early LDS church, they were not utilizing our German Liberals as BYU is now.
It's endlessly amusing to see how often Mormon apologists have to shoot themselves in the foot, or as FAIR likes to say, "suicide bomb" in order to defend the indefensible. And then they have the hubris/ignorance/complete lack of self-awareness to write an entire article shaming evangelical Christians for doing the same exact thing.

You are moronic. Look at church manuals rather that what Kwaku says. Or Kevin Christiansen for that matter.

The topic, clearly, is Mormon apologists and double standards used by them.
Can you tell us where we should look in the church manuals you refer to?
Edit: fixed typo

Mormon apologists are about 70 % awful. This stuff about Jews being polytheistic is a prime example. DCP, Kevin C and others worship this trope.

Lets see , I am a Christian believer and I have made a few critical observations about the Book of Mormon though making such criticism is hardly my life work.
I believe the science about ancient world and universe, evolutionary change in species, and our primate ancestors. I do not see myself making any hypocritical allowances.
I think it is worth noticing that the kind of polytheism which existed in Israel during the period of kings is not the sort to be found in Joseph Smiths late speculations.I have thought it odd that Mormon apologists seem to wish to support one with the other.

Polytheism was more common among pre-Christian Jews than you might suspect based on a surface reading of the Hebrew Bible. From the Dead Sea Scrolls:
Deuteronomy 32:8-9
8 When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the sons of God. 9 For the Lord’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
Compare that to the "standard" version in our Bibles:
When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided all mankind, he set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance.
Note how later scribes revised the polytheism out of Deuteronomy to make it better conform with the monotheism of later Judaism. The much older Dead Sea scrolls preserve the early version of this text. This is straight out of Canaanite mythology - the god El has 70 sons, and each son is a god over the "70 nations." The Israelites were, of course, originally Canaanites. It continued into second Temple Judaism longer than you would suspect - the Jews at the temple at Elephantine worshiped other gods in addition to Yahweh in the fifth century and onward.
You may think the polytheistic Jews were in the wrong and side with Josiah's reformation (as modern mainstream Jews and Christians do), but the roots of Israelite religion were polytheistic.

The church leaders are too afraid to publicly denounce anything these BYU professors say.
I’ll repeat it again, they should do some seeing and revelating if they don’t want DCP to do it for them.

Such a confident statement offered with utterly zero evidence.
Many other members have offered copious discussion and proofs in support of Israelite polytheism. It was real for a long time as Judaism migrated through henotheism toward monotheism. Even the idea of Satan was a later invention, likely after exilic exposure to Zoroastrianism.
