Has anyone noticed a difference in Hanna Seariac’s content lately

She’s still obviously a believing member but in a sociopolitical environment where it seemed those in her circle are leaning harder toward the radicalism of the American Right:

Hanna seems to be deradicalizing. Building bridges. Articulating a more progressive lens for the church than previously.

A welcome development. But why?

She’s an attack dog for the apologists. For example she takes aim squarely at the Heartlanders who DCP and his little cabal of phonies regular smear:

https://religiondispatches.org/Mormon-g ... tionalism/

tl;dr - Heartlanders are racists, xenophobes, and Qtards. No. Seriously. That’s how she paints them.

The above article, by the way, is dated December 15th, 2021. So, whatever the **** she’s on about in Twitter is just more Mormon doublethink nonsense.

Hanna could be right that this insistence on finding evidence of ancient Israel in America "... is the product of a religious ideology with a legacy of religious nationalism and white supremacy. They may be using state-of-the-art equipment in the effort, but there’s nothing new about this toxic perspective".

I get the impression from that article that Hanna hasn’t read the Book of Mormon and does not know what it literally says.

Pretty stunning that in that article she's putting on progressive airs, but elsewhere, she works to censor advocates for women in the priesthood and people who talk about racism.

This is a very new tactic. Normally, mopologists play in the right versus far right space. The idea that a Sorenson devotee would accuse anyone of being a conspiracy theorist or have improper racial opinions is also completely hilarious! The entire idea of diffusionism is that the Native American peoples just weren't smart enough to have invented all the things that they did on their own. They had to have help from Europeans or others.

I think she saw the writing on the wall that flirting with DezNat would negatively impact her career.
