What will life be like for Nelson living with two wives?

Post by IHAQ »

Nelson has chosen to spend eternity in a throuple (cohabiting with two wives). Of the women in question, it is likely only the second wife, Wendy that has consented to this arrangement. Dantzel didn’t get a choice in the matter. So what will life with two wives look like? Perhaps this is an insight:
A cowboy who has two wives has opened up about how his 'plural marriage' works - from how he navigates bitter jealousy between the women and the way the three of them are raising their kids together to their sleeping arrangements and physical relationship.

Colton Winder, 34, from Utah, who is Mormon, is married to both Tami and Sophie Winder.

The throuple - who appeared in season three of TLC's show Seeking Sister Wife - all live together in one house, along with their three kids, but it is not always easy for them.

Colton admitted that it sometimes feels like he's 'standing in the middle of a tornado' due to his wives 'very different' personalities.

Tami and Sophie both have a physical relationship with Colton, but they do not have a physical relationship with one another.

And despite admitting that there is 'definitely jealousy' between them, the three of them have found a way to make their abnormal relationship work through open communication and hard work.

What if Wendy and Dantzel Nelson don’t get on? What if Dantzel objects and demands Russell divorces Wendy, does he? Who gets Wendy? At family functions who sits on the right hand of Russell? Does he have to spend the same amount on each of them at Christmas? The practicalities of living with two wives for eternity haven’t been well explained. I’d like the church to clarify these things…

Someone in the thread mentioned their mom worrying about their now-deceased father being married to mmultiple women and worry about him not loving her any more.

:? :(

Man. The mind job that cult does on people.

Hugh Nibley claimed he bumped into Adolf Hitler, Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill, Gertrude Stein, and the Grand Duke Vladimir Romanoff. Dishonesty is baked into Mormonism.

There’s two options. Either he has sex with both of them at the same time, or he takes turns with them.

Presumably the women stay pregnant for 9 months with spirit children so he will be able to pump out twice the number of spirit children on the planet he gets.

How many wives do you think our Heavenly Father has?

Any LDS man who thinks he's going to have multiple women 'serving' him on the other side if he's 'sealed' to more than one woman is going to have a shock and be very disappointed. Christ taught that there is no marriage at all in heaven and that we will all be 'as the angels in heaven' with no one belonging to another person but that we will be free to be with whoever we want if they want to be with us. Plain and simple.

Correct. Even Christ couldn't keep a church together.

Isn't it funny how the 'church' likes to tout Smith having restored Christ's 'true church' when he never even started a church and only taught people how to live and be towards others with 90% of what Smith taught (created) never having been said or taught by Christ?

I think it just means Rusty will be sending women out of his room in the middle of the night at twice the rate.
