Well I do not remember Jesus instructing anybody to do all that make work. Is any of all that right?

I have no idea if he is doing anything wrong, or anything right. Perhaps he bored God with all that stuff and God decided he would wait twenty years to call..... or not.

I know, he is just a lazy atheist who will never convert to Christianity. I guess god doesn't have the time to convert European atheists.

Doubting Thomas, I am a little surprised at the difficulty you are having in hearing what I am saying.

So he has read a bunch of things where in people think about the meaning of their received cultural religion and sometimes their own personal experiences. This could be interesting and could make the fellow into a cultural historian. I do not think there is much reason to think all that should make him believe in God or Jesus.

I am sympathetic enough with mystics to say reading them is zero help but emptying oneself of all that excess self might be a help.

I am otherwise inclined to say God has zero obligation to convert any particular person no matter how hard they work or perhaps stand on their head.
