I am beginning to think that KS is God and He is trying to preserve this thread forever.

KS has a backlog, for sure. But I don’t think it just applies to this thread. Whatever the case maybe it’s disorienting to manage one’s contributions to a thread when fielding multiple questions that themselves will turn into more questions.

Then if you throw Marcus/Lemmie into the mix…

What do you and KevinSim see in each other?
I see in MG a friendly voice, one of only a handful of friendly voices I've encountered on this forum, so I've enjoyed the few posts he's made to this thread, because he's encouraged me. That's all i know of him. His offenses all appear to be in the past; I haven't seen anything offensive he's posted on this topic. So I don't know how to judge him for posts made over the last twenty years.
I should add a caveat to that. I've been posting to this group now for what? A month now? Two months? But I did post to a previous incarnation of this forum a long time ago. I knew enough about MG to know he was actually Mentalgymnast, but that was about all I knew of him then.
Who would've thought this thread…of all threads…would put me in the limelight?

Not me.

By the way KevinSim, it’s interesting to watch the way things are playing out/along. I see the same confrontational dynamics occurring on the part of the critics of Mormonism in this rather long thread that I’ve seen at in over a hundred instances at the very least. I’ve, at times, wondered if I’m communicating with bots. 😄

It’s all rather predictable.

You are very patient.

Regards,
MG

I'm impressed you guys can even follow the conversation in that thread! You could split it a hundred ways with all the different conversations going on at once

since this seems to be a terrestrial topic, may i ask why, mentalgymnast, you have fallen off the ignore-the-critics wagon yet again? :D

I shouldn't be too hard on you though--I know I am irresistible, as you clearly indicated when you were so desperately trying to assign me a gender so you could encourage "men to be men":

...Lemmie=female. Marcus=male. Are you one, or are you the other? And does this have any relevance to your conversation ... in regards to what you say?

Freeranger should know the contextual framework/position from which you are speaking. He seems to be supportive of the LDS framework in which a man is encouraged to be a man. A leader. An example of goodness and righteousness.

Again, what is it that you are offering to compete with this?

Well, less bigotry and stereotyping, for starters.

but seriously, back to that wagon:

Marcus, I do and have had you on ignore...

I’ve mentioned it before but will say it again, you’re not worth my time.

... you are a dishonest person.

...I will no longer lower myself... by communicating with you directly.
ouch! :D :D Such comments about my conduct! (well, and yours also.) Why can't Critics and Anti-Critics just get along?

and again, the wagon...
I will have no further communication with you.

That should save a LOT of wasted time.
then get to it, and stop wasting your time! Anti-Critics should be busy, busy, BUSY! : D

It wasn't just pretty good. It was the best thing about the thread.
