What about using both maps or perhaps additional maps considering the Vern Holley place names with slightly altered spellings? Joseph seemed like an equal-opportunity cribber. Just ask Emanuel Swedenborg or Adam Clarke.
What the hell is this supposed to mean? Your efforts to be funny here are only succeeding in being cringeworthy.

Lemmie, would you knock off the incessant nastiness? That was a perfectly good comment. There is no need to be an attack dog, especially on the Celestial forum.

Moksha, would you knock off the incessant touchiness? That was a perfectly good expression of my opinion. There is no need to insist that everyone like your repetitive, and in my opinion frequently inappropriate attempts at humor, especially on every single forum on this panel.

If you can interrupt every single thread you read with your non sequiturs, then you can't possibly object to people expressing their opinion about it.

No, you are simply displaying aspects of a quarrelsome personality. You have no right to put others down and you are mistaken about the nature of the post you tried to step on. Go visit Binger's forum to make your attacks since this Celestial forum is not the right place.

Stop breaking Celestial rules Moksha. Objecting to the words in a post is not "putting others down." Make your attacks elsewhere, please.

Marcus,

I think he was actually being topical. If I’m to understand Moksha’s point correctly, I believe he’s suggesting Joseph Smith cribbed from multiple maps to create the fictional place names for the lands of the Book of Mormon. That seems reasonable since Joseph Smith introduced local names, and possibly places, into the overarching Delmarva geography. I’m open to being corrected, though.

Good points. When the humor doesn't land for me it's hard to see the reason for some comments, so I appreciate the explanation.

Lemmie, I think you were just in quarrelsome mode since the comment that set you off was devoid of humor.

Well. To be fair most of your comments are devoid of humor.
