Please explain what you think the purpose of that verse is and whose will is being expressed. Thank you.
I already answered this. No.

It’s just one example of MANY horrible things the Bible says.
Actually no you didn't answer my questions. Thanks for playing though.

Again, my answer is no. Just like it was the first time I answered.

IHAQ, do you know that the number could be zero? If so, then there's one other thing that you have come to know right there.

Not really. It's just that Informant declared that we can't know anything. That's clearly not true; we can know at least one thing. If it's not true regarding that one thing, then the possibility exists that there might be two things (or three, or more) that Informant can know that s/he is not aware of.
kevin, the words you’re attributing to me in the quote aren’t mine. Please go back and correct it and attribute them to the poster who actually said them.
Ouch! Sorry about that IHAQ; I don't know how that happened.

Actually, MsNobody, I've been reading the Bible for several months now. Just today I finished Psalm 14. I did ask God to open my eyes and heart to what He would say to me.
out of curiosity, what did He say?
He said that fools say there is no God.

Philo Sofee, how much power does God possess?
If He doesn't have enough to help solve problems what good is He? I dunno, and I suspect no one does, but many sure think they have an idea...
On one end is the deity who has sufficient power to solve the problems as quick as you'd like, Philo Sofee; on the other end is the deity with insufficient power to help solve any problems at all; is there room in between them for a deity who's working on the problems, but might take longer to solve them than you think S/He ought?

What exactly is His word? Are you referring to the Bible?
I'm referring to the word- the Bible which tells of The Word-Jesus. The message to us about ourselves and about Jesus/God.
MsNobody, do you want me to believe the Bible is God's word because Latter-day Saint prophets have said it is His word, or are there other ways of knowing the Bible is God's word?

Could be, but is that deity the biblical one?
