DCP blog's comments about the Stanford incident...

I guess I am a masochist; I often find myself perusing DCP's blog posts frequently. I often find his posts just past regurgitation of past posts and articles. I have commented in the past on some of his topics. However, I have resisted commenting on the Stanford incident. It's ironic, yet fascinating, how upset Mormons are with the Stanford wedding performed at halftime. The irony is that the endowment had a mockery of the Catholic clergy for many years. The priest was portrayed as Satan's sidekick up until the '90s. Where is the uproar among the Mormon church members over the mocking of the Catholic clergy? The persecution complex is alive and well with his core readers.

So what is this Stanford incident and what did it have to do with LDS temple endowment ceremony?

Go to Daniel Peterson's blog and read all about it. Hahaha, two women were married during the halftime of the BYU/Stanford football game, and the officiator used verbiage from the temple sealing. Much to the disdain of all Mormons present at the game.

It's no wonder Mormonism is in decline.

The people out in front take their self-appointed stations so seriously, and won't apologize for anything.

Perfect target for a connected culture that sees right through hypocrisy.
