Could be interesting to some folks here.
In this 2015 lecture I [Dr James Tabor] talk about the ways in which dualistic forms of thinking about the cosmos, often referred to as "Enochian" in their Jewish forms and "Gnostic" in the wider Hellenistic world, basically took over the Western world and fundamentally transformed Judaism, Christianity, and Islam into religions of "cosmic salvation," rather than ethical transformation of this world--what Judaism calls Tikun Ha-'Olam.

I think it is saying that Enochian Judaism found its way into the four Abrahamic traditions so that beyond Judaism, you will also find it in Christianity, Islam, and Mormonism.

Hi Bill, please be mindful of Universal Rule 10:
Do not EVER "link-and-run." If you post a link to something, always explain what's at the other end of the link, why it's important, and what you hope other readers / viewers learn from it. RULE OF THUMB: If it's not worth your time to describe it, then it's not worth our time to click on it.
Please provide the information required by the rule.
Thanks.

I thought that the cosmic dualism was a gift of Zoroastrianism to the world.

That was a good video by Tabor. I have watched several of his vids this last few weeks. It's a good warm up to the New Testament this year...
