Colby Townsend is a well known Jewish scholar (raised Mormon) who will be sharing his research on the availability of the Book of Enoch to Joseph Smith, entirely outdating Hugh Nibley's apologetic on this issue. Townsend is a double Ph.D student, already possessing 2 Bachelor's degrees, 2 Master's degrees, and soon 2 Ph.D degrees. We will be doing series of podcasts, lives, and recordings together in the up-coming year. Joseph Smith's Trinitarian God manifested himself to Enoch as the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost:

And Enoch beheld angels descending out of heaven, bearing testimony of the (1) Father and (2) Son; and the (3) Holy Ghost fell on many, and they were caught up by the powers of heaven into Zion.

Enoch's Trinitarian God was like rainy weather and he was a weeper (cry-baby):

And it came to pass that the God of heaven looked upon the residue of the people, and he wept; and Enoch bore record of it, saying: How is it that the heavens weep, and shed forth their tears as the rain upon the mountains?

Enoch asked the Lord of Glory how is it he weeps and then learned that he's a weeper because of the mass murder he will commit against all those living on the planet except for seven white folk and a black woman who manages to hitch a ride with Hammy-boy (interracial sexual sinner) on the back end of Noah's ark.

And Enoch said unto the Lord: How is it that thou canst weep, seeing thou art holy, and from all eternity to all eternity?

Bottom line: God is a killer and he's willing to kill you too if you step out of line!

Joseph Smith's Trinitarian God wept in front of Enoch first and then came down to weep in front of the Jews:

Jesus wept.

Then, Smith's Trinitarian God came down again to perform a double-dip weep fest in front of the Nephites:

And when he had said these words, he wept, and the multitude bare record of it, and he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.

Thanks to all who showed up. We had a fantastic Q & A with RFM to boot! Colby and I accomplished many recordings behind the scenes as well that will be out in due time. the man is genius. I love how careful he is with his research and how thorough he ends up being with conclusions, tentative though they are. He IS a force to be reckoned with by all Mormon scholars, historian or apologist doesn't matter. He is well respected and liked because he doesn't do the flippant approach, but just takes a look and learns and shares. I really enjoy his style! MUCH MORE to come from him on the show into the next year. We recorded some very eye opening significant materials on Isaiah in the Book of Mormon! It will be fun to get it out in January or February of next year.
