Disrobing temple patrons before letting EMS transport them

Another interesting case of silly Mormon doctrines getting in the way of personal safety:
“PIMO Mormon temple worker AMA” wrote: I don’t know in other temples but in my temple specifically they have what are called engineers and they’re members who are trained in medical and security stuff if the problem should ever arise so if someone were to collapse we have a phone outside of every room (this temple has 4 rooms) and so the officiator would call the number and an engineer comes to give first aid and then gets them out of their robes and then an ambulance would get that person

Having temple staff move the ill or injured patron out of the ordinance room, having them remove the patron's temple garb, etc., so that in a potentially life-and-death emergency (stroke, heart attack, whatever) non-Mormon EMS personnel - WHO ARE THERE TO SAVE LIVES - won't defile the temple by seeing the off-limits interior or the temple clothing in-action seems asinine to me.

But, then again, so does a lot of other stuff in Mormonism... Ufff.

Got to get your priorities straight.

Imagine the inconvenience of having non-TR holders see anything they shouldn't, compared to, say, letting the patron pass on to the real celestial realm. No brainer, really.

Well, one thing is certain, Malkie. If a non-Mormon first responder made it all the way inside of the ordinance room to reach the person in need, with fully decked-out patrons looking on, the responder would never forget the scene, for better or worse.

Let's assume that non-Mormon, non-endowed, non-TR-holding EMS personnel went into the ordinance room to help save a person in desperate medical need. Would the temple have to close down afterward and quietly be rededicated before doing more ordinances? Are Mormons that uptight about it? Surely, that kind of thing must have happened before in some temple somewhere.

I've heard that for maintenance and mechanical items, the local temple engineers have a list of TR-holding professionals that can be contracted to come and do maintenance work when needed. (Just because I've heard it doesn't make it true. Sort of like 90% of the other stuff I've ever heard in my life.)

From the comments. A broken neck? Remove the garb. Victim? I can't feel my legs.

It's just so silly. Is the problem that people might see the temple ceremony? It's already all over Youtube.

Is it a problem that some non-Mormons might touch the clothes? They're all on sale on ebay.

Is it that the temple might be desecrated? There's tons of stories of temple workers having sex after hours. And construction workers planting secret messages in the walls.

It seems God is doing everything in her power to try and show Mormons that their temples aren't to be taken too seriously.

Couldn't this be taken care of by having Kirton McConkie draw up a Consent to Delay Life-Saving Procedures that Temple workers and patrons must sign? The overriding concern would be maintaining the Temple's secrecy rather than providing the best medical care. It could be explained to the Saints as an obedience requirement.

It could be the silly bakers hat cutting off circulation to the head has caused the medical emergency, so best to remove it before EMS sees the cause of the issue…

And what if a fire broke out and trapped people in the Celestial Room? Would fire crew be allowed to go in there and rescue them?
