John Gee and the length of the Book of Abraham etc

The interpreter has a radio show with John Gee talking about the length of the original Book of Abraham. Argues from historical sources that we do not have all the papyri Smith had in his possession. Gee talked about a recent discovery of a Book of the Dead scroll which was 10 meters or 45 feet long:

Both Skousen and Givens seem to take the view that the Book of Abraham was given by revelation.

We have and can SEE all the characters written in the label of Facsimile No. 3, directly above the head of Isis. There is no king’s name therein. Joseph Smith was wrong. The Explanation tendered in the Facsimile publication is false. There is no Cartouche to signify a royal name. There is nothing John Gee can do or say to convert that hieroglyphic writing into a king’s name.

People say, well, these are Egyptian papyri, and they are from the Ptolemaic Period and so they can’t be Abraham’s handwriting. But that’s not what the text says, so the text says, that this was called, and this seems to be the ancient title, “The Book of Abraham, written by his own hand, upon papyrus.” That’s the ancient title of the book. And by his own hand here looks like it’s a criticism but it’s actually a support to the Book of Abraham. The phrase by his own hand in ancient documents, particularly ancient Egyptian documents of the time of the Joseph Smith papyri is a designation for who the author is. There are three ways that they designated it, so it was made by, or by the hand of, or written by, and that’s how they designate the author. So, it’s the Book of Abraham written by his own hand means it’s Abraham’s autobiography. And that’s the way an ancient author would express it and how an Egyptian would express it.

But that's not how Joseph Smith expressed it and that's not how his followers in Kirtland and Nauvoo understood it. Joseph Smith claimed it was an original autograph, not a copy or a replica of the original but an actual autograph that had been entombed for some 3,500 years! Joseph Smith was on official record for stating that the mummies and papyri were that old!

Look, I've been through this time and time again and John Gee wants to hide the evidence and lie. Or is he really that stupid and uninformed. What an idiot! Dumb ass!

Shame on him! Gee wouldn't last 5 minutes with me in a discussion of the Book of Abraham. I would destroy his argument and wipe him out! He is like a little boy talking about ancient Egypt to a crowd of Mormon idiots who are buying his garbage.
