I just picked up King's Fairy Tale myself. How are you enjoying it, so far?MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 4:43 pmGod Will Prevail. Author: Kerry Muhlestein. On page twenty four. Yeah, MG. What book did you say you were going to finish reading again? You know, the one you said you were ten pages or so in?

Thanks for your interest in my reading habits.
Also reading Zane Grey: The Great Trek. Lots of books out there!
The perception that I don’t actually read the material that I reference to is completely over blown. I guess with the intent to make me look inferior to the folks here who are so well read.
I get sidetracked by podcasts also. Just listened to Michael Shermer’s latest.
What do you have in your wallet?

Re: Making Covenants
I’d never read a Stephen King novel before. My brother recommended this one. I’m having fun reading it thus far. In fact, it’s a library book and I need to get it finished before the due date. I jumped in here to start a thread. I need to jump out and finish it!Marcus wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 11:12 pmI just picked up King's Fairy Tale myself. Now it’s Doc’s turn to jump in and make an accusation that I’m not actually reading it…
He’s very predictable. A troll, of sorts.
Anyway, thanks for asking! I hope you enjoy reading it.

Your desire is to leave a wake of misrepresentation and innuendo so as to tear down the beliefs and practices of the CofJCofLDS and its members.
You are an anti-Mormon of the first degree. You are a bigot.
I only have contempt for you and your lies.
You have little or no desire to enter into civil/honest conversation. You are jaded and uncompromising.
What redeeming value you add to any conversation is little or none.
Hmmm…did I make myself clear?

He or she may become enraged, deny everything, call you a liar, twist reality, blame you and then play the victim.

This isn’t me.
Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence, they are not sure of their self-worth and are easily upset by the slightest criticism.
A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial matters. People with narcissistic personality disorder may be generally unhappy and disappointed when they're not given the special favors or admiration that they believe they deserve. They may find their relationships troubled and unfulfilling, and other people may not enjoy being around them.
I’m sticking with every word that I said to you. I’ll add one more. Disgusting.
Please refrain from continuing your provocative troll like behavior on this thread.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Making Covenants
okay, got it. Another title from another pile. good thing it has a library due date, right? given you've never read a stephen king novel i was a little surprised your brother recommended it because its a little outside King's usual style, in my opinion, so i was interested in your reaction to it.

“I’m having fun.”, and, “I have to return it to the library.”
