in real life Kishkumen is a saint and an overall wonderful human being. Anyone who says otherwise doesn’t know him.
in real life sure. We actually have a very slight in real life connection and I agree. I also think he looks a bit like Snape! It doesn't stop him, however, from being an absolute ass online to those who disagree with him without soothing his ego before, during, and after, however.

Based on his in real life behavior, I'm pretty sure he would be hugely horrified and deeply apologetic at how he treats some people here if he knew who they were in real life. But, I prefer his honest (if unbelievably rude) responses, unfiltered by societal concerns. It is far more interesting than the fake social stuff, and far more revealing.
Yeah, you know I agree with this concept in a huge way. The internet really brings out the worst in people. In a very twisted way, I think that’s a reflection of the wounds we carry around, and somehow the psychology is such that it feels rewarding to put a communicative pseudonym in their place.

It’ll be awesome when A.I. can absorb all of that. Maybe a second internet will spring up where we go to be ourselves after thoroughly wrecking a text bot.

Jesus, you’re a buzzkill, Marcus!
No surprise there. The sexist guy disparages the opinion of the woman he dislikes. Again. And again. And again. And again.
A wee little bit of jealousy that you don’t have/deserve similar accolades?

Did you have any friends growing up? Real friends?

Man, you’re a class act, Marcus.

That’s, of course, coming from someone who holds you in high esteem. 😉

Regards,
MG

I suppose I really should apologize.

I should have kept my opinions to myself in this instance.

Sorry.

   From the guy who asked if my husband knew I posted here. And who said he'd throw food at me if we met in real life. And who said he pictures me with a high squeaky voice. And who has no idea what 'accolades' people here have.

And it’s therapeutic to have people that you’ll really never actually get to know or meet that can absorb the punches of anger resulting from those wounds.

Recently I brought up ‘breaking bread’ with Doc. He said it ain’t gonna happen. Truth is, I would actually like to meet him in real life. I’ve met a few people from this board and have found them to be delightful individuals. I hope that they thought the same of me.

I again apologize for coming across as an ‘ass’. I shouldn’t have said what I said even if I was thinking it.

I also apologize for the derail. Marcus should be welcome to turn things in a certain direction without me further adding to the tension that may be created by what she said to Kishkumen.

I will bow out. Again, sorry.

Regards,
MG

CFR. On all three accusations.Time stamp, date, and complete context that show me saying what you’re accusing me of.

Thanks,

As I said, I will bow out. This is beneath any of us.

I would hope.
