YEP!!! Emphasis on LIVING Prophets also

Post by Philo Sofee »

Right in line with Quinton Cook's talk, the next gent (can't remember his name) mentions the importance of following the living prophets. Do NOT use past prophets to argue with living prophets. This is classic because they want no opposing votes if they do that this conference.

And now the corny story of the First Presidency each following Pres. Nelson in flattening their plastic water bottles to help recycling, and the importance of following Nelson's example of doing so, and to immediately follow the prophet, so Oaks and Eyring flattened their water bottles too! Neato!

This is priming for the vote later in conference. Sustain, support, and follow the living prophet. Cute homey examples of it to get a laugh from the audience, and so later everyone will sustain following living counsel. And it's tragic if one does not do so. Don't pick through their counsel, accept it ALL. This is pure priming.

Their historical contradictions are catching them. Don't even go a little off course. It is a sacred charge to prepare the world for prophets to avoid the adversaries influence. Do that by following prophetic counsel to withstand the enemy.

All of this is priming. Oh don't walk dangerously near the edge of the covenant path, we might fall off. (LOL)

We ought to follow Nelson or else repent! Nelson is the ONLY way, don't let any distractions stop us. Counsel and direction said in the name of the Holy One of Israel, even Jesus Christ.

Devalues scripture

"The truth has no defense against a fool determined to believe a lie." Mark Twain
The best lack all conviction, while the worst//Are full of passionate intensity." Yeats
