Chris Smith is married. He got his PhD, writing a dissertation about Mormons and Native Americans. I take some pride in having recommended the subject to him, although I doubt my opinion was all that influential. He was working with Don Bradley, and I think he is moving into the tech industry, If I recall correctly. He has done a variety of things since he got his PhD. He also published a piece in one of those Mormon Studies scholarly collections.
