Anyone caught this?
Someone is using voice A.I. to make (hilarious in my opinion) audio of the Prophet speaking on various topics.

What is the world coming to?

UPDATE: Okay, now I have a new favorite:
Church to end Fast & Testimony meetings in 2024
They're all very good, but this one is GOLD. The creative genius behind these videos uses all the right lingo to make them (the videos) seem just
barely plausible. Plausible enough that several people in the comments section are convinced that what they're hearing is 100% real.

Thanks guys! These really didn’t have a ton of time put in them, like maybe 10 minutes a video.
I was inspired by my childhood love of the Phil Hendrie radio show. He would announce something semi believable like “Disney World will now do cremations on Tom Sawyer Island” and the clueless callers would phone the show to tell the fake guest how outraged they were.
Russel Nelson’s fetish with making changes and announcements was a natural fit and very easy to parody. And the new AI technology is fun to play around with. If I’ve made even a couple people laugh it makes my day.

Technically AI did it. I just guided the process along.
It’s a bit like Joseph’s seer stone.

Good grief, absolutely hilarious stuff. I couldn't stop laughing all day. Thanks!

It must have trained on a younger sample version of his voice. Also with the right tools, it is very feasible to create a deepfake video of Nelson giving these speeches, or similar ones.
Deep fakes are problematic in general, but especially when they make famous people appear to say terrible things. I imagine the difficulty for LDS leaders might be the opposite. When the deepfakes say positively good things which they’re unwilling to say in real life.
