Was not the church supposedly led by Jesus Christ at this time? Shouldn't we really be blaming Him for this?

Previous Prophets don't age like classic cars or comic books. Since I have have a lot of comic books from the era's gone by I am set. I have Daredevil, Captain America, Thor, X-Men, Iron Man, Conan, ....These dudes beat the hell out of Brigham, Benson, and Monson ....

Issue # 1 of Fantastic Four never caused the mayhem of Ezra Taft Benson or Bruce R. McConkie, so there are different standards for measuring things. Those two far exceed comic books on the calamity of a Richter scale, but in terms of being right twice a day, both Reed Richards and Timex would be the winners.
