I hope they are small, with lawns of rock and cactus. There is a center row where couples can walk down and get married, stained glass, a baptismal font, and a small cultural hall detached from the building I hope they are about 1/8 of the size and they build most in Africa, from where we came from.

This is obviously incorrect information.

For the correct information about Church growth, we can always rely 100% on Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland. Holland stated in 2016:
Apostle of God, Jeffrey R. Holland wrote: “We’re in the midst of incredible growth, staggering growth in the church. It’s the single biggest problem we have. It’s the best problem we have, but it’s the biggest. We are reeling under the implications of the growth we have in this church. Last Thursday, I’ve been out here this Thursday, I’ve been with Elder and Sister Holland and I’ve been with Elder and Sister Robbins, this week, so I missed the temple meeting this Thursday, but a week ago Thursday we created 15 stakes, and we are doing that más o menos every week, more or less. It might not be 15, but its… the week before it was 12, sometimes it’s 8 or whatever and it’ll be a little uneven, but the point is we are talking double digit stakes every week. Every week of our lives.”

Since 2015 there has been a decreasing increase in the net number of stakes created, but the average increase in # of stakes per week has never exceeded 2.

Code: Select all

Year	#stakes	Incr Incr
                stakes	stakes
                       / week
2015 3,174
2016 3,266	92	1.77
2017 3,341	75	1.44
2018 3,383	42	0.81
2019 3,437	54	1.04
2020 3,463	26	0.50
2021 3,498	35	0.67
2022 3,521	23	0.44

If those are your hopes, then I regret to inform you that all of them are about to be seriously dashed.

Yea, the center row is a dream: that someone could be married in a church designed for marriage.

If I won a lot of money the first thing I would do is build a big beautiful stained glass nondenominational marriage chapel in Utah where all relatives can attend the ceremony.

May your vision come to fruition.

I am sure the Holy Ghost told him to go ahead with the lies, because it keeps the money flowing unrelented into the sacred coffers in order to buy more real estate. It's not about people and baptisms, it's about land. BUY the land. They can't convert the world, so why not just buy it?
