Well, I should add, to be as accurate as possible, that I wouldn’t know if I was a witness to any alleged sex parties held in any specific alleged locations with any of the specific alleged offenders spoken about by the people claiming to be witnesses at the link below….

....because on almost all (but not all) occasions, I was put in the back seat of a car in the middle of the night and driven somewhere. I was very little. I hardly knew where my own house was, much less any random party locations.

And generally there were so many people at the parties (with the lights off except, often, for lights they shined directly at me and colored lights circling everywhere…. so 1970s) that it was really hard to get a good look at anyone.

Very very confusing for a small child. No wonder why I forgot.

Plus, how would a child so small have had any idea who Hinkley even was?

So…. I’m not a witness to any kind of specifics people who were adults at the time can be witness to. I can only witness in regards to what a child witnessed and experienced.

I watched it a couple years ago and don’t have the time to rewatch it today to ensure I represent the witnesses’ allegations accurately.

It was published in August of 2022.

But, again, more allegations of sex parties among the top leaders of the church. This time it’s President Hinkley.

As I’m not personally a witness to any of this, I don’t have much to offer besides that it fits the pattern of what I did witness. Except that, as far as I remember from when I watched the above link a couple years ago, there were no allegations that children were also attending the parties.

The only parties I ever attended were as a child.

The coverup has worked really well: publicly label any witness as “crazy,” “histrionic,” or “mentally troubled” and make sure all the believing Mormons, the exMormons, and the anti-Mormons buy that narrative together.

Sigh.

So, along with all of your other allegations, you are now alleging that you attended Mormon sex parties as a child. That would be highly disturbing to contemplate if you hadn't already established your complete lack of credibility multiple times in this thread.

Were these like the sex parties you allege were held at Brenda Nelson's home? Is this another one of your recovered memories? Did you recover this memory before or after you read about Barbara Snow's therapeutic methods that resulted in dozens upon dozens of people in a single stake being accused of ritual sexual abuse and culminated in the Bountiful, Utah 'Satanic panic' episodes of the 80s and 90s?

(No one needs to be reminded Snow's methods and the resulting accusations were thoroughly discredited.)

The latest video you added does nothing more than emphasize your inability to discern the reliability of sources. Add to that your unquestioning belief in every bizarre story you run across, your ever growing list of previously debunked and/or unverified allegations, and the suddenly far-reaching nature of your many, many recovered memories that only seem to show up after someone else alleges the same thing, it is clear your ability to discriminate between reality and fantasy is virtually nonexistent.

In the end, though, your motivation does still seem to be rooted in a desire to distance yourself from your failed attempts to capture Dehlin's attention. Doc said it best:

One way for Rosebud to distinguish from actual LDS sex parties and aliens probing her is whether the perpetrators were dressed in Reformed Egyptian garb and speaking in the Deseret Alphabet. True aliens would not do those things.

Yes, indulging in fantasy claims to further defame John Dehlin is a disservice to all who have been genuinely abused.

Re that delusional territory, the smallest bit of research turned up the fact that even the Tanners didn't fall for that story. From their April 1993 newsletter:

...The Godmakers II charges that there has been an "extraordinary media blackout" which "stopped the hottest story of the 80's concerning one of the top Mormons in the world." Actually, the truth of the matter is that the news media felt that the story was not credible...

Rosebud has posted like this for over a decade, and has shown no signs of settling, whether people respond or not. There is nothing people are doing that is 'making it worse.' It is what it is, inside her.

She is not making these posts because people give her prompts, nor is it anyone's responsibility to curtail their responses or let her posts about these inflammatory topics stand unchallenged in order to soothe her.

What's happening now is an extreme version of her posting on this the board, complete with very extreme and specific accusations. The mods can either allow or not allow these accusations, but if they continue to be allowed, then there is no reason that the refutation of those accusations should not continue also.
