I have been asked and others have also pointed out to me the very newest apologetic attempts of Stephen Smoot to defend Joseph Smith's Book of Abraham and the papyri. I am going to do a detailed response with the evidence showing the attempt has yet again, failed. Come and join me for my special Saturday Night Live.

Then on Sunday, the following night, I will have live on my show Dr. Trevor Luke, Jesus as a Roman God! It's going to be a fabulous weekend for all to continue our education.

So, he's qualified and able to give an expert analysis of the king's name in Facsimile No. 3, Fig. 2?

What's the king's name, Stephen?

He previously earned a Master's degree in Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations from the University of Toronto and Bachelor's degrees in Ancient Near Eastern Studies and German Studies from Brigham Young University.
And, I trust that Stephen-baby will reveal the "Prince of Pharaoh, King of Egypt, as written above the hand." What is the name of the Prince, Stephen-baby?

I trust he will show us how to spell the name "Shulem" with the hieroglyphic signs that make up the name and how the writing in the label above the person of Fig. 5 designates a "waiter."

For baby Stephen, incase he soaks his diaper, again:

I'm baby Stephen, will you play with me?

What's up with the Book of Abraham?

Smoot tells his listeners to take their pick on how they want to accept the Book of Abraham:
Smoot-baby wrote:
  • Ancient record from Abraham
  • Modern revelation from Joseph Smith
  • Modern Pseudepigrapha from Joseph Smith
  • Or, something else
I pick "something else." The Book of Abraham is a fraud and is not based on how Egypt was founded. And I can prove it:

Historical Predynastic Egypt vs. Book of Abraham False Narrative

Sic 'em, Kerry! Count those f-ing numbers! Do what no Book of Abraham critic has done before in a podcast! You have the torch. Now do it! It will make you powerful if you can count those numbers and expose the fraud.

Liar for the Lord

Smoot is a GODDAMN liar.

He's a liar and a fast talking scam artist who is pushing garbage for ignorant Mormons who are enthralled into brainwashing and false indoctrination about ancient Egypt.

Hey, Smoot -- bite me dude! Get yourself a handsome man and hang it up. You are wasting your career just like Gee wasted his.

You will not survive this. You will fail. You will fall. Mark my words.

Those will both be boffo programs. Upon leaving this board, I will need to rely on YouTube for notifications. Dr. Trevor Luke should be especially exciting.

You can’t leave! The quantum platypus is *still* simultaneously hosting a tea party on Mars and solving crossword puzzles with extraterrestrial jellyfish while riding unicycles made of Coca-Cola!

I stay out of the drama threads and personal arguments of that nature as much as possible but I offer my opinion on what I've seen about the latest. Take a long deserved break from this place and just lurk. Shift and find something else that will reward you and bring you personal satisfaction.

It's time for you to go on a little voyage....

Questions

Hey Philo, did you get the part about how it's important for those who have issues with the Book of Abraham to ask the right questions? They want the members of the Church to ask the right questions. That way they can give them the right answers without having to deal with the tough questions which they will not take.

We have this sewn up. They are so beaten and battered that they don't know up from down. We shall continue to kick their asses. They can't take us on. Let them try and the full fury and wrath of Shulem will come down on them! I will rain fire and brimstone down upon them.

Paul, you are undoubtedly right. I wonder if the X-Mormon Reddit would be kinder to an elderly Penguin? Anyway, that lurking stuff sounds unproductive.
