Russell M. Nelson: Time Mag Person of the Year

Post by Dr Moore »

Not.

It’s Taylor “Fu*k the Patriarchy” Swift, a talented artist who has done more to help women and girls feel validated, seen and powerful than all Mormon leaders combined. A very deserving honor indeed. Whether you are a fan of her music or not, it’s hard to argue her impact.

Don’t they know how much good he has done? No man save Jesus himself has done more!

Obviously Time Magazine didn't hear about Russell M. Nelson's burning airplane/flight of death.

Or how much he values the 'women' in his church and in his family. Also, not.

It is interesting to note that Taylor Swift has been so effective in dissuading people from voting for that aspiring authoritarian, shambolic nightmare cult leader known as Donald J. Trump, whereas President Nelson's followers are falling all over themselves to install Trump as dictator in '24. What greater praise could there be for Swift? What worse condemnation of Nelson?

The church wouldn't cut off a potential source of revenue and power just to stand for their principles.
