Church Provided Terrorists With Millions

More bad news for the Church, and yet another shining example for Christopher Hitchens’s “Mormonism Spoils Everything” file.
The New York Times is reporting the Church bought 200,000 shares in a Hamas controlled company in 2019.
Where was the discernment? Where was the prophetic oversight? Where was the prompting of the Spirit? How many weapons did Hamas buy from all the money it received from the Church? How many Jewish lives were lost due to the Church’s actions?

There is no indication that the church or the Western banks knew about any Hamas ties at the time. A church spokesman said that a U.S.-based investment adviser, Acadian Asset Management, bought the shares on its behalf. An Acadian spokesman said the company had “complied with all relevant laws.”
