Someone should probably check the stake president to see if he’s been masturbating and lost his power of discernment.

Is there any evidence this was filmed in front of a congregation?

Good question. The last ward meeting I attended, I learned the bishop had a button that he could use to turn the microphone off remotely.

I suppose they could have edited the crying children noises in but I think that’s unlikely.
Remember when the church secretly re-recorded a conference talk with a cough track?

I wonder why leaders didn't think about those VCR's that members had.

That seems to be a decent and thoughtful man. And a brave one too, I'd say.
Good luck to him and his family.

Good for him. More leaders need to defy Mormon authorities who ask them to do immoral things.

I finally watched it/them. What a heartfelt message. May he and his family take in a deep breath and move forward. We all know that was hard to do, and came with a lot of pain and struggle preceding the resignation. My heart goes out to him and his family.
