It's a faith crisis due to a truth crisis because of a trust crisis. Hell, they're still sending out young, ill-informed and mis-informed young men and women to teach a narrative to people who might actually be interested in this 'church' that they admitted 10 years ago in essays isn't how it actually happened. That is a HUGE honesty, integrity, trust, faith and truth problem! But if they were to be honest and tell the truth, no one would join, members would begin leaving in droves and their big nest egg would be in jeopardy, can't have that, these guys have earned their hundreds of billions and deserve every penny they can get their hands on!

I would say a faith crisis or a crisis of faith is when you are struggling to believe but want to keep trying and want to find your faith. It is no longer a crisis when you get over that hurdle and that fear that you might go to hell if you choose to allow yourself to not believe.
