I would love to see someone uncover that they're invested in Starbucks, Budweiser and Marlboro.
A 'church' worth hundreds of billions... because we all know Jesus invested, made tons of money and said 'accumulate as much wealth as you can, build a global real estate empire and come follow me'.
Appalling that this 'religion' continues to call itself a 'church'!
Top 10 'church' holdings as of December, 2023

No, it's financially intelligent to continue calling itself a church, even an important one, like one that is Jesus Christ's! Spiritually? No, just bankruptcy on that score. It's vastly more useful in the world to be of it and have the dollar than the spirit anyway. The spirit can't buy you property, only money does that, and boy does the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints love property!

The Church has maintained an investment in Marriott despite the hotels profiting (and therefore the Church’s shareholding profiting) from in-room porn channels and the selling of alcohol.

Do you really think people pay for porn via their hotel room entertainment services?!? Plus Marriott doesn’t actually own most of the hotels, they wouldn’t be able to franchise if they restricted things like alcohol sales in their brand.
I don’t really care how they invest it in the markets, the issue is the amount and means of obtaining the funds to invest.
