In Facsimile 2, we all know that Fig. 7 represents God sitting upon his throne, which depicts God with an erect penis. Now, a non-Mormon scholar is arguing that "YHWH’s penis plays a predominant role throughout the Old Testament".

In Tamas Mekis book on the hypocephalus page 50 all examples of this register none have the example of Min on the throne displaying a penis. but the "dove" is actually Nehebkau does in this example

We have had a thread already on the book in question. I think this article makes pretty straightforward criticism of the book.
I am not sure how this relates to Joseph Smith one way or the other. It does present questions about the development of biblical ideas or understandings.
