I was stunned at how out of date some of their points were. That they used an outdated chronology however perked me right up, so I utilized our very own Shulem's research up in the Celestial to show them their worthless chronology is a liability, not a blessing. We'll see how it goes. I like CWIC Media for the most part. This one didn't do them a lot of favors however. This subject seldom does for any of the Mormon channels.

He's an LDS guy who has interviews with other LDS scholars. He leans to the conservative side of things, and I have actually enjoyed a few of his programs. But this one... this one is pure atrocious.

He was called out in the comments that it is obvious that the facsimiles are Egyptian since that is where they came from. He said this is different because it was found in a temple. He also kept blabbering about syncretism.

The thread is Historical Predynastic Egypt vs. Book of Abraham False Narrative and serves to demonstrate in no uncertain terms how Mormon scholars have avoided the elephant in the room which is: Egypt predates biblical Noah.

Mormon scholarship refuses to acknowledge how secular science trumps religious myth outlined in biblical chronology and proves the Book of Abraham narrative about Egypt's making is false. The Mormons have spent all their time and energy trying to defend the Facsimiles but have neglected to explain how chapter one tells us that Egypt was founded after the flood in 2300 BC which is chronologically impossible.

Thank you BYP for your work. You are at the helm and hold the keys to destroy any and all Mormon apologetics regarding the Book of Abraham. The Catalyst Theory (John Gee's second decent choice) is DOA because it cannot altar or change history. Truth is a knowledge of things as they WERE...

The Mormons have spent all their time trying to alter the truth of the Facsimiles with shady and deceptive methods. But the apologists have done nothing to alter the truth about the birth of Egypt predating the flood as opposed to what's chronicled in the Bible and in Smith's doctrines, teachings, and revelations.

Yeah baby, the party is over, turn out the lights. Time to turn the screws and squeeze the apologists and demonstrate how the members of the church have been blinded by the craftiness of men. By the time the BYP is done with those fools the apologists will be shaking in their boots, they haven't a leg to stand on. Please inform yourself and see how the Book of Abraham is nothing more than man-made history or the personal musing of Joseph Smith.

I have been encouraged by several of my patrons and have decided to update my "Getting Clear on the Joseph Smith Papyri" series I did two years ago. TWO YEARS AGO?! That just blows my mind. Anyway, your work will be like the glove on a hand for me as I am reviewing ALL of your materials on your website. PLEASE do not EVER take ANY of your Book of Abraham materials down.
