Hi all,
I was surprised when I learned that Mormons as a group use plastic surgeries so much! Did you know that?

The practice is supported by LDS doctrine. "If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things."

I wonder if it may in some small part be due to Mormon dress standards. That the pressure to dress modestly leads to other means of expressing beauty.
I read not too long ago that Iran was considered the nose job capital of the world, with one reason possibly being the strict dress code for women. If you can't show your body or hair, then the face is the only thing left.

I have heard that Utah women have the highest rates of “boob jobs.” I’m not sure what that says about Mormonism.
