I was just reading over at exmormon.org and it seems that Steve had a stroke back in February, with little if any improvement since. So sorry to hear of this.

That’s terrible! Thanks for sharing the news! I hope he recovers. Steve was a hugely important regular poster for me at the RfM forum. Back in 2007ish there weren’t a lot of places to find refuge from Mormonism online, and Steve was a kind and thoughtful critical voice there. He put words to the scattered and painful thoughts a lot of us were having.
