In this video, I conclude my review of Lars Nielsen’s new book “How the Book of Mormon Came to Pass.” This book makes many bold assertions, such as:

Joseph Smith knew both Sidney Rigdon and Parley P. Pratt as early as 1825 or 1826; Joseph Smith accompanied Pratt to Ohio to meet Rigdon in 1826; Rigdon visited Manchester before 1830 and participated in digging for treasure; Rigdon believed Spalding’s manuscript was a real translation and recruited Smith to find the gold plates; the Book of Mormon was a continuation of Spalding’s Roman story, rather than a separate manuscript; the Book of Moses was included in Spalding’s manuscript. Can these bold claims stand up to serious scrutiny? Watch this video and find out.

Dan,

This portion in your video really resonates with me:

here

I hammered it out really hard in this forum not long ago. Sorry I missed you.

Mormon at ages 11, 15, 24 is really Joseph Smith Jr., in disguise!

Anyway, on some things, you and I are on the same page, on others (geography), not so much...
