I teach technology at a large Utah-based University, and I am well aware of the misogyny and gender discrimination that occurs in the technology sector. These issues are amplified in the state of Utah. They are religious based, and they need to stop.
A recent study concludes women who work in Utah's tech industry frequently miss out on career advancement due to gender norms that echo teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Is tech the only industry within Utah that suffers from systemic religious sexism? (I’m not saying that to mitigate the issue, I’m just wondering if it’s wider than just tech).

Actually, tech is hardly the only industry in Utah that suffers from severe misogyny and sexism. One of the primary employers, if not the primary employer, in Utah is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. From the very get-go this religious bureaucracy has been extremely sexist and misogynistic. Although it has shifted its public persona on this issue, it remains deeply misogynistic and sexist.
