I am so glad! I kept checking back, but and I had pretty much despaired of ever reading there again. Thanks for the great news!

It has been years since I posted on NOM.

When I try to re-register, the confirmation code area comes up only with a blue square with a question mark inside, and no confirmation code.

Looking back at my login information from years ago, that I had in an Excel spreadsheet, I saw my login information for a yahoo group for LDS missionary moms (in our mission area) that I was allowed to post on back in the day. It still blows my mind how much invested in things LDS I had become, how I was allowed to participate in various things or groups. I had set out to learn from LDS what it was like to be a LDS, what it was like to be a missionary (full two years with one of the mishies), then, what it was like to be a questioning LDS, former LDS, Mormons in Transition, and a bit into polygamous groups.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find my NOM username, but that was a very long time ago.

Send a message to Corsair or Red Ryder. This is actually NOM.20, so everybody had to reregister a couple of years ago. Did you use the link in the first post?

Thank you for the information. From what I can tell, I may have to be a registered user to send them messages.

Great news. I found NOM so refreshing and vital in providing new ways of grasping things. FANTASTIC!

NOM can be an enjoyable place now that Binger (in the guises of SaidNobody and Mayan Elephant) has departed to Haiti for more accommodating sofas.

I think the penguin is THE genius of the group, we all just don't recognize it some of the time. I love that bird's posts! The name is a dead give away as far as I am concerned. Moksha means liberation, freedom from the straps and tie downs of life, the limitations of the body, the soaring of the intellect, etc. Therefore the bird takes nothing happening seriously (or overly serious) because there in all truth, IS nothing overly serious happening... EVER, anywhere in the universe. Penguin now knows this, and hence his humor (some see mocking, but I never have). He has just enough tilt in his presentation of words to jar our brains, to get us to double take, roll our eyes, or sit down stunned with a new angle of understanding that is not available from anyone else here, or just roaring with laughter for hours with his antics which are spot on. It's just a few reasons why I feel blessed to be in the same message board arena as he/she(?) inhabits. It helps me not take myself all that much too seriously. It also brings a smile to my face. It also profoundly uplifts my spirit.
