[this is a Boylan repost that may have already been discussed, he’s been reposting it many times since 2016]
It’s impressive that he manages to go several pages holding back the urge to label his critics “cucks” and “betas” like he is wont to do. But in my opinion he loses the plot when confronted with this quote from church history:
A quote from Brigham Young (Journal of Discourses 7:289), which Bobby [the man Boylan is criticizing] also replicates:
No man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith. From the day that the Priesthood was taken from the earth to the winding-up scene of all things, every man and woman must have the certificate of Joseph Smith, Junior, as a passport to their entrance into the mansion where God and Christ are—I with you and you with me. I cannot go there without his consent. He holds the keys of that kingdom for the last dispensation.
Boylan argues that this is acceptable because Joseph is working under Jesus. I would argue that if any Christian has a problem with Mary interceding in heaven (as Catholic Christians believe) then this is a much, much larger issue. This isn’t mere intercession, this is Joseph himself determining salvation. It’s straight up leader worship, and I think should be correctly labeled as idolatry.

And by this logic the passport starts with the SP's signature on a Temple recommend, and tithing records.
Has he not put his papers in for a Desperate & Lonely Singleton Mission yet?
1. Eye witness testimony is notoriously unreliable. 2. The best evidence for The Book of Mormon is eye witness testimony, therefore… 3.The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is a type of evidence that is notoriously unreliable.
Has he not put his papers in for a Desperate & Lonely Singleton Mission yet?
No. He, like Peterson, thinks his mission on the internet is much more useful, important, fulfilling, and sacred. No reason to go trapsing through the world for the church when you can sit in the comfort of your own home and sharing your version of the Gospel without someone looking over your shoulder and constantly correcting you....
