I was experiencing doubts until I read Michael Ash’s response to the CES Letter. I was truly Bamboozled by the CES Letter. Now, thanks to Michael Ash, it doesn't bother me that Joseph Smith married teenagers, sent men off on missions and married their wives, that the LDS Church systematically kept black men and women as second-class citizens until 14 years AFTER the Civil Rights Act, that Joseph Smith told multiple conflicting version if "THE FIRST VISION!," that there have been changes to the "perfect" and "timeless" temple experience, that Joseph translated the Book of Mormon with a rock he found in the field (the same one he used to see buried treasure), that Joseph publicly lied about polygamy for years, the hiding of assets, the abuse cover ups, that the modern church is run more like the corporation it is than the living church of Jesus Christ. None of that bothers me anymore.

Michael Ash: Mopologist Extraordinaire
Apparently pigs can now fly. Over at Public Square, a poster's testimony was actually salvaged by Michael Ash's response to the CES Letter. I never thought I would live to see the day when Mopology actually helped someone stay in the Church.

I think Public Square Magazine could help everyone by advocating the building of both a Greenland Temple and a 51st State Temple near one of the rich Canadian mineral deposits.

Mopologists are so unlikable that even if they had a winning argument (they don’t) they would still be a net negative force for the church.

Congratulations, Michael! Your "none of this matters" answer to every criticism has finally paid dividends for once!
You should be proud.
