There is a thread over at the MAD Board about President Nelson dying earlier today. One poster made a comment that he was thinking about President Nelson's passing earlier today, evidently at the same time President Nelson was allegedly dying. This is how faith promoting rumors start:

This may sound freaky, but I was just thinking about this subject this morning... while he was passing it seems. In many ways Nelson was a man for all seasons, and I will miss him.
If they keep saying it they will be right sooner rather than later.

I double check most news nowadays because so much comes out that is just outright false. Not even hinting anymore and letting people believe things, just outright lies.
There are at least two possible resolutions to the "he didn’t die" problem in the original post:
Rusty died but his family has not yet announced it.
Definitions of the word "died" are expanded to include new meanings.
Critics of the Church falsely attribute the possibility of the word "died" as a description of clinical death. The accurate position is that poster’s prophetic vision may have labeled a critical change in health "death." This conjecture is based on the fact that The Amerindians called horses "deer" when they first saw them.
