Mormon Genetics Inquiry

How can Mormons tell if their main genetic ancestors came from the Pre-Adamites (Paleolithic Era) or the more modern Adam and Eve line from Adam-ondi-Ahman, Missouri?

Has the Interpreter Institute Foundation been able to lift some data from the Origin of the Species to shed some light on this question?

It would be super interesting if any of the Saints had traced their genealogical lineage back to Olduvai Gorge.

No, no, clearly when you deal with haplogroup genetics and you find the earliest common ancestor, they arbitrarily call the male one Adam and the female one Eve. And obviously those were the real Adam and Eve. They lived a hundred thousand years ago but that’s ok by the scriptures because Adam living to be ~900 was just a metaphor for how he lived 90 thousand years.

I suspect Modern man is considerably older than that, but the LDS Church holds that the Adamites are a bit more than 6000 years old.

Not sure about the LDS being phosphorescent when put under UV light due to being pure and delightsome. That sounds more like a penguin rumor.
