When mg announced his intention to TTOC, i didn't at first realize that what he intended to do was project his own lying and truth stretching onto other people, and then feel sad that (he thinks) others do what he does. Kind of like Trump's excuse for cheating at golf. He says he has to cheat to keep up, because everyone else does.

I think that’s true. When he digs himself into a hole he cannot get out of because he’s been caught either making stuff up, not reading his own source, lying etc he used to disappear for a few weeks to let that thread drop away from being active. Now he posts a little TTOC and splatters masses of other posts across multiple other threads to try and force the embarrassment to the bottom of the first page.
