I’ve pointed this out before, but my local Catholic Church for comparison, hands out free food to anyone who comes every day of the week. No questions asked. They partner with local businesses and food banks to provide this much needed service.

Which organization is more Christlike? Which one is doing God’s will? Something for believing Mormons to ponder.

That cannot be real?

On the one hand, you have an organization that's out there, on the front lines, giving away free food every single day. No questions asked. No proselytizing. No "pay your tithing, and then we'll give you a can of sardines, ketchup and some rice." Just pure, unadulterated charity. It's a real-world, tangible example of feeding the hungry.

If you were deity looking down on Earth, trying to figure out which of your followers was really getting it, who would you choose?

1. The people who are feeding the hungry every single day, just because it's the right thing to do.
2. The people who are mandating its members to pay 10% of their income to a multi-billion dollar corporation, and only then will you get a can of sardines, some ketchup and rice.

It's a tough one, but I think I'm going to have to go with A. But hey, that's just me.
