Clarification so as to be clear.
I've already been fairly clear about this in the recent past, but I will state again so as to be clear.
There are some posters who over time I have come to the realization are not serious posters. They will mock, deride, and cherry pick and/or create straw men arguments and fail to answer questions pointed towards them with any clarity and/or completeness. I have found that it is not worth the time and effort to respond to those particular posters. There are four or five of them.
I also realize that these posters will most likely continue to post in the same manner distorting my posts and get away with it since I will not regularly check their responses and will not respond to them. Their twisted and pretzel like logic which circumvents and actually changes the narrative of my posts in order to get their own agenda across as the dominant narrative will continue, I'm sure.
Apparently, it already has.
I have recently posted in regard to what I see as "religious racism". There are those here that exemplify that to the extent that I am not willing to contend with them. For me, it has saved a LOT of time going around in circles with certain folks without accomplishing anything besides wasting the time of other posters who would just as well read something interesting without having to wade through personal attacks and religious racism.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Regards,
MG

Had to take your clown show to a new thread, huh?

Ad hominem mockery will only get you so far. Or take us/you backwards. You are apparently trying to reassert dominance as you signal to other readers that my post isn't actually worth engaging in on its merits.
As of yet, I hadn't put you on ignore. I will have to rethink that. If I do put you on ignore, you along with some others will be free to continue this strategy which I have underlined above. Hopefully, reasonable people can see it for what it is. Spectacle over substance.
You could do better. We shall see.
Marcus, IHQ, Wang, and some others are pro's at creating spectacle over substance and using rhetorical devices to try and reassert dominance without substantively engaging. It has become transparent enough that I have decided not to engage them, along with a couple of others.

MG

TTOC/snore…
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Oh so cute, MG 2.0. "Merits"??? Is that a word from the vocabulary on how to dress up your myths?MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 8:50 pmAd hominem mockery will only get you so far. Re: Clarification so as to be clear.
There is something interesting going on here. Mg asserts that others 'distort' his posts and 'get away with it,' only because he doesn't 'respond.' So, does this mean he has no confidence in what he writes? If he is so positive that others disagreement with him will be taken as accurate, is this an admission that he knows he is not posting rational, logical arguments? Or does he assume only 'believers' like him will automatically accept his arguments, while other readers automatically will not?MG 2.0 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 8:23 pmI've already been fairly clear about this in the recent past, but I will state again so as to be clear.

Nobody is distorting anything. Responding, yes. Rebutting, yes. Pointing out flawed thinking, yes. Highlighting hypocrisy, yes. Showing how nonsensical sone things are, yes.Marcus wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 9:23 pmThere is something interesting going on here. Another thread all about MG? Jesus Christ, save us! When will this end? Grindael must be rolling in his grave, bless his soul.
I respectfully request the moderators place this garbage into a MG-2 MEGATHREAD. The charge of religious racism against MG is false. Nobody to my knowledge has belittled his race or skin color. Am I wrong about that? But that is something Mormons have a long history of doing and he wants to accuse critics of those sins? Give me a break.
This has to stop.
