How in the hell did I miss this article?
What started out as a wholesome Ward Christmas party quickly devolves into a scene straight out of the Jerry Springer show, when 28-year-old Josue Montuy allegedly bit an inch of his father's ear off during a fight with a missionary. But the real Christmas miracle came when the father decided that instead of a hospital, what his disfigured ear really needed was a quick trip to the Dollar Tree store for some DIY reattachment surgery. Luckily, deputies intervened before Dad could turn himself into a medical cautionary tale.
This short article boils down the essence of Mormonism and tells us all we will ever need to know about this quirky little religion.

It doesn’t say if the Priesthood holders present did, or didn’t, attempt to anoint the ear with consecrated oil and “heal” it back on rather than relying on superglue.

Maybe the Priesthood holders present knew the man didn't have faith to accept that God would not restore the man's ear fully. So why bless him that he would have such faith?

Or perhaps he had the faith to not be healed…
