I searched through all the forums for a thread discussing whether parts or even most of Mormonism, particularly its teachings about the afterlife, could be partially true, but I haven't found anything yet. Is it possible that many visitors to this board are resistant to new ideas and prefer to maintain their closed-mindedness towards Mormonism as a way to cope with their departure from the church? Additionally, I believe the prevailing groupthink mentality "cultiness" present here contributes to this situation. There is certainly a prevailing groupthink mentality present here, which heavily influences the board. This atmosphere stifles the discussion of diverse perspectives, as certain board members, such as Gadianton, Wang Chung, and Canpakes, DrCamnPP, with others, tend to dominate threads. Their initial posts often focus on defending the anti-Mormon narrative, which is so pervasive on this board that it resembles a belief system of its own.
