The irony of building such opulent buildings in the name of Jesus has long been a criticism of the Catholic Church. But then the Mormons come along and say “Those old cathedrals are great, but can we make ours look like a strip-mall Nordstrom’s and cost 10x as much?”

This sad picture should serve as a wake-up call that the Church's last man standing order of corporate ascension is elderly abuse.
