It's probably just the usual incompetence. But then again, it also leaves room for speculation--i.e., it could be that this is an attempt to further cover up the fact that the President's travel, lodging, and food were paid for using donations to Interpreter.
He's using the old Hinckleyism (not telling the whole truth) as a means of misleading people. Hinckley famously announced that no tithing funds were used on City Creek. Now we all know that plenty of the proceeds of invested tithing funds were used on Vity Creek. And to rescue an insurance company. Peterson is simply using Redbrick Filmworks to launder his expenses.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or has Episode 1 been removed from the Becoming Brigham YouTube channel?

I don’t see the first episode on the website, but it’s there on YouTube.

Speaking of the website, i am amused by the contrasting headshots of the hosts. Wilson gives a look right out of Zoolander. (Incidentally, the Proprietor’s bio is outdated.)

Thanks for checking Tom. When I access YouTube via my phone app Episode 1 is definitely missing. The trailer for Episode 1 is still there.

I wondered whether the filmmakers had pulled the episode to fix the sloppiness (camera shadows), but that’s not happening.

Tom, a quick update. It has now reappeared on the list when accessed on the YouTube app on my phone.

It seems that the members of the Afore’s ward just aren’t that interested in him.
Alas, though, I’m still running into people in my own ward — including today — who haven’t heard of the project, let alone watched any of the episodes. I suspect that most members of my ward, in fact — the ward in which not only I live but our producer lives — have no idea at all about Becoming Brigham. I literally don’t know what else to do to get the word out. I’m thinking, perhaps, of burning my neighbor’s house down and putting a sign on his lawn. Or perhaps lighting myself on fire . . .
Dan, they’re being polite. They just aren’t interested in you and whatever it is you’re up to. Get over yourself.

Mark 6:4 wrote:But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
Except in this case it seems that the "prophet" is without honour pretty much everywhere.

I don't give a rat's ass about the camera shadows caused by fat-Dan's oversized giant inflated belly that looks like a balloon in the Wizard of Oz. It's the Goddamn position of the sun that counts and his video of the sun is about as stupid as anything Joe Smith said in the Explanations of Facsimile No. 2: "Earth and the Sun in their annual revolutions."

Stoopid Mormons. Take the Book of Abraham and shove it right up Dan's you know what and watch the sun disappear!

F-u, Dan! And the Book of Abraham horse u road in on! U Dumb ass apologetic liar for the Lord.

Redbrick Filmworks should have been too embarrassed by such a basic filmmaking error to have allowed it to air, unedited. Failing that, did the Executive Producer not notice it during pre-release reviews?
