...he's racist because he hates white people.

What about me? Am I racist? Do I hate white people?

I understand it's difficult for the progressives on this board to understand this, but just because someone is liberal or conservative, doesn't make them less of a person.

Right, but you'll agree people tend to hang out with those whom they are most comfortable with.

Personally, I think Mormons are cool!!

Maybe, but strike up a conversation about the virtues of expressing gay love and watch things go down hill fast! Or strike up a conversation about the Book of Abraham and things go sour really fast! Not so cool.

Do you think the leadership of the Mormon church is too white? If so, yeah, you may be a racist!

This is very simple. If you, Shulem, need to see black skin amongst the leaders of the Mormon church so you feel a certain way, that's a you problem, and you should really start thinking harder about how you view individuals regardless of their skin color.

Gay love? So because some Mormons hold to the traditional marriage view you're upset?? The same can be said about progressives such as yourself when someone that's not progressive tries to hold a normal conversation. Progressives can't stand when someone doesn't agree with them and as soon as someone doesn't agree with them they 100% of the time label that person an idiot! This board is a perfect example.

Progressivism and Mormonism have a lot in common in that both religions are based on making the members feel superior to anyone that doesn't agree with them. This philosophy has been around forever and the reason religious or political movements use it is because it's very affective and once someone is fully indoctrinated into believing they are going to save the world through their beliefs, it's almost impossible to convince them otherwise.

Answering my questions (Am I racist? Do I hate white people?) with a question is not going to cut it for me. I don't put up with that sort of tactic.

I wasn't born yesterday -- ha, I see through what you are attempting to do in skewing the questions and taking them down your rabbit hole. Not gonna work. You're telling me, Shulem, to think harder? Me think harder? Shulem? How rude of you.

Look, the percentage or number of black members and leaders in the church is not my problem but is the problem of the Church itself and for those who have issues about it within the church. I am an observer and to do not participate within the confines of Mormonism itself.

Some? Rather it's the entire faithful membership of the church to include members and leaders alike who are required to subject themselves to established doctrine -- not some.

What I can't stand is when someone/anyone (the Mormon church) expresses hateful doctrine about gay love lacking any virtue. I cannot tolerate Mormonism labeling/condeming homosexuality as evil and prohibiting the practice in all its forms.

So, here's the bottom line, Hound of Heaven: I'm smarter than you!

YOU are now on ignore. You have no power over me.

bye bye
